Heading back to Austin…

With early spring in the air in London and Newcastle it’s time to turn our heads west and begin looking towards our annual pilgrimage to Austin TX for South by South West 2019.

Our 4th year at SXSW sees TheTin bringing it’s biggest team to date with representatives from across the company.

We’ll be looking to discover, learn and absorb knowledge on digital-first storytelling, smart working, stakeholder management and customer experience. With a focus on how we can apply these to our clients across the professional services sector.

Our team of seven will apply these filters to bring the exhaustive programme into focus to ensure we bring back the good stuff for our annual Tinnovation Live: SXSW Special to be held on 11th April (grab your early bird tickets now!)

With every visit to Texas our network grows and we’re grateful this year to be hosted by our friends at Capital Factory in their space downtown during Interactive week. Those who’ve attended before will appreciate the value of a central base to refresh and recharge (mentally and electronically) with the option to meet, greet, eat and drink — this truly is worth its weight in tacos!

No visit to SXSW would be complete without music and this year TheTin is honoured to be an Official Partner of Back To Amy, the US premiere of an exhibition by the British photographer, Charles Moriarty.

Back To Amy portrays the late Amy Winehouse before she became a global star. Shot in and around her native North London and on her first trip to NYC, the photographs capture the innocence and excitement of a star in the making.

The exhibition is an official SXSW day event and runs from 12th to 16th March at Holy Roller in downtown Austin. Each day live performances, interviews and talks will be presented by some of the hottest acts from the UK and beyond.
