Adobe SOTDTheTin are pleased to announce another Site of the Day from Adobe.com. This time for our work for artist and Rolling Stone, Mr. Ronnie Wood.

Another labour of love, Ronnie’s site was a pleasure to design and build.

From original conception through design by Rock n’ Roll designer, Shaggy, to web and Flash development, congratulations to everyone who put in the long hours to hit the launch date to coincide with the release of Ronnie’s autobiography.

Adobe SOTDTheTin are pleased to announce they have won a coveted Site of the Day award from adobe.com for their development of alisoncarmichael.com.

The site has been a popular addition to our portfolio (see blog entry Handmade Websites) with great feedback from clients and friends a like.

Working closely with Alison and her designer Sarah Dezille, TheTin developed a dynamic portfolio in Flash powered entirely by XML, this makes the site both zippy and easily updatable… Check it out!

EEA hands digital brief to TheTin

With clients in more than 12 countries across Western, Central and Eastern Europe, award-winning Erik van Egeraat Architects’ (EEA) web site is an essential marketing tool.

When the firm looked for an agency that could provide an innovative and flexible showcase for their award winning designs to inspire prospective clients, they chose TheTin!

Having provided a vision of how they can bring their approach, passion and work to life using cutting edge media rich applications, the project will include back-end integration with existing internal systems and innovative 3D interface design.

Handmade websites…

When hand-lettering artist, Alison Carmichael came to us on the strength of our work for her agent Jelly London (www.jellylondon.com) we were delighted to help her with her own website.

Working with a design created by Alison and her designer Sarah Dezille, TheTin developed an XML-powered Flash site that contains a wealth of work including images and video plus press and awards content.

“Having just completed the whole process of re-designing and building my website, I can honestly say it has been a pleasantly painless process,” laughs Alison, “The guys at TheTin were great to work with and patiently talked me through every stage in plain English, which was invaluable as I’m a total technophobe!”

And it looks like the experience has left another happy client wanting more, “I definitely won’t put off redesigning my site for so long next time and would thoroughly recommend the team at TheTin.”

The Ventura Experience

Always happy join in celebrations, we popped champagne corks as Dame Helen Mirren christened P&O’s new superliner Ventura – in a ceremony that was streamed live on our recently launched Ventura Experience microsite. 

Building on a relationship that began last year with the ambitious online tour of the ‘Virtual Ventura’, P&O this time asked us to create a microsite to showcase the real ship in all her luxurious glory.  

Designed in Flash, the Ventura Experience is packed with sumptuous photography to give you a peek at the ships many features – spas, restaurants, clubs, rooms, art and shows – as well as its destinations.

Luxury in a Flash

When exclusive boutique spa and resort developer Per Aquum needed an elegant way to present a media pack to promote the launch of ‘Zil Pasyon’, their luxurious resort playground for the super-rich in the Seychelles, TheTin were delighted to help.

The resulting microsite perfectly reflects the vision of ‘barefoot elegance’ that Per Aquum is famous for and fits neatly on the branded Flash Drive’s that were given away to the press.

We’re pleased to say that after having freelanced as Flash developer on projects including Virtual Ventura for P&O Cruises, The Joke’s Over for Random House and Ronnie Wood for the man himself, the talented David Robinson has now joined TheTin full-time as Head of Interactive.

We’re expecting great things from Dave, not least benefiting from his vast knowledge of whisky…

Dave is joined by Jason Fingland. Fresh from a degree in Graphic Communication from The University College for the Creative Arts at Farnham, Jason’s love of animation and design skills make him the ideal wingman to Dave’s expertise.

We’re delighted to find that NMA’s Site Inspection has awarded our Hotblack Desiato website “Site of the Week” with a score of 90 out of 100. Scoring highly in each of the categories content, usability, branding and monetisation, the verdict is ‘a slick stylish affair that makes finding property a doddle’.
